Offensive slugfest leads FSBE past A3 Sports

Switch hitters are a dying breed in baseball, but a speedy switch hitter? Sounds like a million dollar jackpot. That’s how Tristan Weathers felt as he led the team and went 4-5 with 4 runs scored. Johnny Dobkowski went 3-5 at the plate with 2 runs scored and Landon Gruenwald went 2-5 with a sac fly.

it was a windy day in New Port Richey as no baseballs left the ball park, but pitching was a little shaky with 12 walks and 3 HBP. Brendan Ness started the game and went 2 solid before turning it over to Zach Sullivan(1-1) who surrendered 1 run on 3 walks and 2 Ks. Tristan Shelton made his debut on the mound with a scoreless 6th.

FSBE will play against MVP Sports on February 14th down in Orlando before making a return to Pasco Hernando State College for a final meeting with A3 Academy on the 18th.
